Everything is S'More Fun with Family Gifts

Everything is S’MORE fun with family!

Although I shop for individual gifts for my children, I also shop for gifts that my kids can enjoy together! Our in-house focus group has reviewed FIVE cooperative play gifts from Walmart that would make excellent additions to your Christmas lists!

1. ELECTRIC S’Mores Maker. You read that right….it’s electric. A safer alternative to an open fire with small children, this s’mores maker brought the bonfire right to our kitchen. Simply fill the lazy susan with ingredients, roast and enjoy. This was such a big hit with my kids that three neighborhood kids came over to partake soon after we started! Under $40!

2. Reissued Classic Nintendo - Who else battled a sibling to be Super Mario Brothers Player 1 in the 80’s? I’m not sure who was more excited about this game, the parents or the kids, but our enthusiasm for this gift proves that a classic never goes out of style! Pre-loaded with 30 games including Mario, Zelda, ExciteBike, Galaga and my husband’s favorite, Punch Out, the Nintendo Classic is sure to create a second generation of memories. (The console is mini to save space. One controller included. I’ll link the second controller in stories and on LTK.

3.  VTech KidiZoom Digital Camera   -  This is the gift for every child who isn’t quite ready for a phone or camera but wants to feel like a big kid. Asher and Charlotte spent over an hour taking and printing photos on this no ink required camera!

4. Lite-Bright - Another classic game with an added modern day twist. Not only does this inspire creativity and help with fine motor skills, the new board has 4 different light show options! Kids can work together to create 3D art!

5. LeapFrog Magic Adventures Globe - As a former teacher, I highly recommend this interactive learning toy. Using the stylus, kids tap on different global experiences, see over 600 videos and play one another in three different geographical games. Intended age 5-7 however I think ages 4-12 could actually play.
